The Day of Knowledge!

Dear teachers and parents!

On behalf of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and me personally please receive congratulations you on the Day of Knowledge and the beginning of the new academic year!

The 1st of September is a quivering holiday of childhood and youth, uniting all generations, a symbol of beginnings, prospects and new opportunities. This day is especially exciting for first-graders and first-year students who are entering a new life full of interesting meetings and events. It is significant for parents as well and of course it is a special, starting day for teachers - people in a highly demanded profession.

Today, quality education is the foundation of a successful career and a decent life in the modern world. The authorities of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic do everything necessary so that the younger generation can acquire deep knowledge, realize their talents, and become a worthy citizen of their state.

The coronavirus pandemic made its own adjustments to the educational process in the spring of 2020. The education sector has gone through massive digitalization. All participants in the learning process - teachers, students and parents - have had a difficult experience of acting in an online learning environment. The current situation demanded from you more independence, patience and self-discipline.

I express my sincere gratitude to the teachers for their painstaking daily work, professionalism and dedication to the chosen work.

I am sure that the formation of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic will continue to be one of the locomotives of the overall systemic development of the country, and selfless pedagogical work will be fruitful and will be of great benefit to our republic.

I wish all pupils, students and teachers good health, new achievements in their studies and work, happiness and prosperity. Good luck and new discoveries!
