Dear veterans of the Great Patriotic War, defenders of Pridnestrovie and internationalist warriors!

Dear Pridnestrovians!

On behalf of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and me personally let me congratulate you on the Defender of the Fatherland Day!

Today we honor those who have dedicated their lives to ensuring the safety of their native land, becoming a professional military person, who have fulfilled their civic duty, having served in the army, and all those who in the event of a real threat will defend their homeland following the example of their fathers and grandfathers.

This year is marked by the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory and the 30th anniversary of the Republic. We bow our heads to those who defended the freedom and independence of our Motherland, marched towards Victory, sacrificed themselves for the future and the right to live on their native land.

We are proud of our countrymen who performed and are fulfilling their military and civil duty, protecting the peace and tranquility of our Republic and our citizens.

I wish everyone who celebrates the holiday with their family, and those who are at the military post, be real defenders of home, family, homeland!
