Dear Children!

On behalf of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and on my own behalf I cordially congratulate you on International Children’s Day – a mischievous, carefree and cheerful holiday, bringing joy and marking the beginning of the long-awaited summer!

Today's holiday was historically intended to draw the attention of the international community to the fact that children need protection and protection of their rights. Childhood is considered to be the most joyful and happiest time in a person’s life. If a child does not have the opportunity to attend school, does not have his own roof over his head, or has to face difficulties that should only be solved by adults, then the society in which such a child lives is obliged to devote all its efforts to correcting such a situation. Children are the meaning of life for adults, a strong support in the future and a reliable guarantee of continuing the work they have begun after all. That is why it is so important today to support the realization of your creative potential, to create conditions so that you grow up healthy and happy, so that your life is peaceful, calm and protected from troubles and adversities, so that each of you has the opportunity to reveal yourself and realize your dreams with the help of the friendly and helpful adults around you.

Children who do not have or have lost a family, deprived of parental care, tenderness and warmth deserve special attention and care from both adults and peers. It should be remembered that these children, more than others, need sensitivity, protection and, most importantly, our love and openness. With our common responsiveness and readiness to come to their aid, we will be able to warm their souls and restore their faith in goodness.

I sincerely wish you guys a great mood, loyal comrades, self-confidence, warmth, comfort, prosperity and good health! May the coming summer give you a long-awaited vacation, fill you with the necessary energy and strength, joy and optimism, and the desire for further successful development!
