Dear paratroopers and veterans of the airborne troops!

I congratulate you on the Day of the Airborne Troops on behalf of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic!

We honor strong-willed and courageous people today – those who by the call of their hearts and consciences have chosen this honorable and responsible service in the ranks of the Airborne Forces. The airborne troops are rightfully called the elite of the army, you have proven in practice your unparalleled courage shown during the Great Patriotic War, in local conflicts and hot spots.

You are our hope and support, you are ready to stand up for the defense of your native Fatherland at any moment together with your comrades. Paratroopers are always a model of steadfastness and selfless devotion to the Motherland.

I express my sincere gratitude for courage and heroism to the veteran paratroopers. They created the history of the legendary "winged infantry".

I am sure that you, who have gone through the school of courage, the current generation of paratroopers, will continue to be faithful to the oath, the Motherland, and military traditions, passing on your invaluable experience to the younger generation.

I wish you, your family and friends health, well-being and a peaceful sky over your head!
