Teacher's Day!

Dear teachers!

On behalf of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and on my own behalf, I congratulate you on the wonderful holiday - Teacher's Day!

Since ancient times, teacher’s profession has been the most respected.

People came to a teacher for advice; teachers were considered bearers of knowledge and culture, conductors of eternal values.

A teacher is not only a person who teaches sciences, but also a bearer of spirituality and moral principles. Working with children, you teach them to think, love, and compassion. You put a piece of your generous soul, selfless love and great patience into each of the students.

A lot depends on you: how our children will grow up, whether they will preserve their historical experience and cultural traditions. It is your great merit that the republic continues to develop successfully. Day after day, in the classroom and in personal communication, by your own example, you are raising educated, intellectually and spiritually developed youth, who tomorrow will determine the fate of Pridnestrovie.

Adding all the best that was created by previous generations of domestic teachers, you teach young citizens of Pridnestrovie to confidently walk the path of life, not give in to difficulties, respect the history and traditions of their native land, and do it with talent, with sensitivity and sincere care for our children.

Today, you increasingly have to work in a new reality - distance learning, dictated by an unfavorable epidemiological situation. At the same time, you manage to carry knowledge to the younger generation through the monitor screen. Teaching talent and skill cannot be replaced by any modern computer even in the age of rapid changes and high technologies.

I am sure that the joint efforts of the state, teaching community and all citizens of the republic will be able to bring our education to a qualitatively new level, while preserving its best traditions.

I wish you and your loved ones good health! Peace, prosperity, new professional victories in the education and upbringing of the younger generation, grateful students! May your work bring you joy and satisfaction, remaining your favorite work of your life!
