Dear employees of all sectors of communications, radio and television!

On behalf of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and me personally let me congratulate you on your professional holiday - Radio Day and all sectors of communications!

This year 135 years since the day when the outstanding domestic scientist Alexander Stepanovich Popov first conducted a radio communication session. The invention of radio was an extraordinary event in the history of mankind, a huge step on the path of scientific and technological progress.

During this time, the world has made a big leap from the Morse code distributed through radio waves to gigantic arrays of Internet data relayed via satellite channels. Communication still plays an important role in the process of transmitting information about events taking place in the world.

Our signalmen operate with the usual radio and telephony technologies, as well as the most modern and advanced methods of transmitting information signal. The fact that all this is realized in the absence of the full international legal status of Pridnestrovie is worthy.
