front-line soldiers and home front workers!

Dear Pridnestrovians!

On behalf of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and on my own behalf, I sincerely congratulate you on the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War!

Victory: how much pride, joy and at the same time pain, bitterness in this capacious and short word. This is first of all an irreparable loss of thousands of our fellow countrymen who gave their lives for our bright and peaceful future. You are our heroes, and we are the descendants of the victors, and our sacred task is to forever preserve in memory what you did for us in the name of Victory, showing courage and heroism in battle and in the rear, bringing this great day closer.

The young generation is growing up, our front-line heroes are growing old and passing away, but our memory of your immortal feat does not age.

We bow our heads today in memory of the fallen front-line soldiers and honor the living veterans, the last witnesses of this bloody war. The victory became possible only thanks to you, your courage, bravery on the front line and heroic work in the rear.

Dear victors, the most heartfelt gratitude and deep bow to you!

With all my heart I wish everyone health, prosperity, peace and bright days, and to our veterans – cheerful mood, longevity, warmth of soul and sensitivity of all for whom you won this Great Victory!
