The volumes of the enterprise are impressive, in favorable times the productivity reached one million tons of metal per year. The plant's products are in great demand and are exported to near and far abroad.

The economy of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic largely depends on the efficient operation of the metallurgical plant.
