Congratulations on Constitution Day of the PMR!

Dear Pridnestrovians!

On behalf of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and on my own behalf, I congratulate you on the national holiday - Constitution Day of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic!

The Basic Law of the country was adopted on December 24, 1995. This became a special event for the Pridnestrovians, symbolizing the beginning of a new page in the history of the Republic. The Constitution enshrined the unity of our people, opened up broad opportunities for further transformations in various areas and spheres of state activity.

The adoption of the Basic Law was the result of the transformations of the first years of the formation of the independent Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. The Constitution proclaimed the highest value of life, human rights and freedoms, the unity of the people, the unification of people of all nationalities on the Pridnestrovian land, connected by a common historical destiny, enshrined the fundamental principles of the socio-political and state structure of our young republic, the foundations of interaction between the branches of government, the principles of regulating the most important social relations.

I am confident that we will be able to stimulate with new energy the further democratization of the republic and create conditions for a dignified life for every citizen of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic with our steps and the consistency of our actions by uniting the efforts of the government and society.

Dear Pridnestrovians! May this holiday always give us strength and confidence in achieving our goals to strengthen the statehood of our republic! I wish everyone peace and happiness, firmness in defending their own interests, confidence in the future, good health, well-being and new achievements!
