Public Procurement will be held in a new way from next year

Deputies of the Supreme Council adopted the law "On Public Procurement in Pridnestrovie" in the second reading. A new document for the republic was developed by Deputies Mikhail Burla, Viktor Guzun, Vadim Doni, Gregory Dyachenko, Vadim Kravchuk, Sergei Cheban. Legislators suggested changing approaches to spending budget funds in the sphere of public procurement. The legislation in force in this part is obsolete: the law "On the supply of products for state needs" has been in force since 1999.

According to the legislators, it is necessary to formulate public expenditures in a new way. The basis of the proposed document is world experience. At the same time, the authors took into account the specifics of our republic. Bidding is planned to be conducted in two stages. In the course of the first contest committee will determine the qualitative and technical parameters of the participants and select the best of them. The second stage is an open auction. The plans are to conduct it in electronic mode.

Several meetings during the week took place on the basis of the profile committee, more than 70 amendments were received. The document was adopted by the deputy corps in the second reading. The Government has to prepare all the necessary subordinate legislation.

Public procurement in accordance with the new legislation is planned to be held from January 1 next year.
