The Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic approved a report on the implementation of the state target program "Preservation of immovable cultural heritage sites of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic requiring urgent repairs in 2019-2024" for the entire period.
The total funding amounted to 14.1 million rubles. These funds were used to carry out major and partial repairs of sculptural compositions, mass graves, landscaping, installation of memorial plaques, fences of memorial sites throughout the republic. Of the planned 31 objects, 29 were repaired using funds from the republican budget, 1 – using other sources.
3 objects were repaired in Tiraspol. This is the Memorial Complex of Glory, where memorial plates, steps and a canopy above the common memorial plate were restored. Repairs were carried out on the monument to soldiers-aviators in the Oktyabrsky microdistrict, which was constructed in honor of the 30th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Local work was carried out on the monument to Alexander Suvorov in the center of the capital. One object, a monument to the victims of fascism during the Great Patriotic War in the Kirpichnaya Slobodka area was not improved.
Work was carried out on 9 objects, seven of which are in rural areas in Dubossary and Dubossary district. Among them are monuments to Soviet soldiers who died during the Great Patriotic War in the villages of Tsybulevka, Garmatskoye, Koikovo, Dubovo, Doibany I and Krasny Vinogradar. Major repairs were carried out on sculptural compositions and improvement of memorial sites. A monument to Soviet soldiers and fellow countrymen who died during the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 in the Lunga microdistrict was repaired, as well as a stele monument erected in honor of the fallen defenders of the city in the Bolshoy Fontan Microdistrict within the city limits. Repair work in Bendery was carried out on 6 large sites. Among them there are the railway workers' glory museum complex (revolutionary, military and labor glory museum, a monument to the victims of the 1918 shooting and a 6-meter stele with a sculptural composition). Restoration of the Bendery-1 railway station building was also carried out. The roof structure and roofing of the former dacha of the dentist Flemmer have been restored. A number of works have been carried out at the Black Tulip monument, the historical military memorial complex Bendery Fortress and the Memorial of Military Glory.
Museums dedicated to the life and feat of the Heroes of the Soviet Union have been renovated in Kamenka and Kamenka district – the house-museum of Fyodor Zharchinsky in the village of Rashkov, Ivan Soltys in the village of Kuzmin and Ivan Koval in Kamenka. Work in the literary and memorial museum of the Hero of the Soviet Union Pyotr Vershigora in the village of Severinovka was carried out using funds from other sources.
A monument to Soviet soldiers who died during the Great Patriotic War was covered by major repairs in the city of Slobodzeya, thanks to the state program. A complete reconstruction of the memorial was carried out, where gravestones were replaced, a granite panel with a panorama of battles in the Great Patriotic War was installed. Two more objects were repaired in the village of Chobruchi – the Swan Palace of the state monument-park of landscape art named after Dmitry Rodin and the monument to Soviet soldiers.
Repair work in the city of Rybnitsa and Rybnitsa district was carried out at the 19th century architectural monument – the Tower of the Winds. Now a landscaped stone path leads to this tourist site, there is also a parking lot. Major repairs were carried out at the city's Glory Memorial and the mass grave in the village of Gidirim.
Repair and restoration work was carried out on the mass graves in the village of Karmanovo and the village of Butor in Grigoriopol district.
The Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic adopted a Resolution on the approval of the report on the implementation of the State Targeted Program "Preservation of immovable cultural heritage sites of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic requiring urgent repairs in 2019-2024".
