Several vital decisions

During the last plenary session today, the Chairman of the Central Election Commission Elena Gorodetskaya presented parliamentarians a report on the expenditure of funds for the organization and conduct of presidential elections. The costs of the electoral process that took place in Pridnestrovie in December last year exceeded 5.5 million rubles. At the same time, as it was noted by the head of the Central Election Commission, it was able to save a considerable part of the funds - more than four million rubles. The main reason - the elections were held in one round. According to Elena Gorodetskaya, members of election commissions were awarded for excellent organization and election at the expense of part of the savings.

Deputies approved the estimates for the costs of organizing and holding of by-elections of deputies of the Supreme Council. It is scheduled for April 2 this year. According to Elena Gorodetskaya it does not need  additional costs - funds that managed to save during the last elections will be spent. The planned expenditure exceeds 695 thousand Rubles. These are costs that would be required to hold elections in four constituencies (Earlier, 4 Deputies terminated the authority by going to work in other authorities). However, the amount of expenditure will be increased. Today during the plenary session the deputies stopped the powers of a deputy of the Supreme Council Tatiana Turanskaya. Her statement was previously considered by the parliamentary commission on mandates, regulations and deputy ethics. In this connection, April 2, 2017, voters of the district number 22, "Bolshe-Molokishsky" elected a new people's deputy. Thus, by-election of deputies to the Supreme Council will be held in five constituencies.

Deputies has also adopted a number of resolutions. According to one of them the Accounts Chamber shall provide information on its activities for a period not later than June 1. Another solution is related to the operation of the first consultative meeting of Pridnestrovian deputies. The parliamentarians decided to let the creators of the republic, involved in the activities of a public authority, to combine it with work in other positions.
