PSU Russian Center “Russian World” - 10th Anniversary

Meeting of the round table “Cultural and educational mission of the Russian center of the Russian World Foundation” at PSU named after Shevchenko and his role in promoting the values ​​of the Russian world. "In addition to the administration and professors of the State University, the distinguished guests attended the round table: the first President of the PMR Igor Smirnov, the Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council Galina Antyufeyeva, acting Education Minister Alla Nikolyuk and coordinator of Rossotrudnichestvo in Pridnestrovie Nikolai Zhuravlev.

On September 26, 2009, the Russian Center of the Russian world Foundation was opened at PSU. It actively interacts with the Rossotrudnichestvo representative office in Pridnestrovie, the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Moldova and the Union of Russian Communities of Pridnestrovie.

The roundtable participants discussed the implementation of Russian educational programs in Pridnestrovie, the role of PSU Russian Center in improving youth culture, as well as the work of the Pridnestrovian Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Education.

Igor Smirnov noted that over the 10 years of its existence, the Russian Center has made a great contribution to the strengthening of Russian culture in Pridnestrovie. The work of the center, according to him, unites all the peoples of our republic.

Galina Antyufeyeva that in the near future due to negotiations between the President Vadim Krasnoselsky and Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak, Pridnestrovian State University will be connected to the electronic resources of the Russian State Library.

Stepan Beryl handed thanks letters to university teachers and those who actively collaborate with the center. Students participating in the center were awarded diplomas.
