Russian-Pridnestrovian dialogue at parliamentary site

The Supreme Council held a meeting of the head of the legislature Vadim Krasnoselsky with the Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Grigory Karasin. He is in charge at Russian Foreign Ministry of the settlement of relations between Chisinau and Tiraspol. Deputy Foreign Minister before the meeting at the Pridnestrovian parliament held negotiations with the leaders of Moldova and met with the leadership of Pridnestrovie and the foreign minister of the republic. The visit of the State Secretary of the Russian Foreign Ministry is preparing the ground for the planned next week's talks in Moscow of the heads of foreign affairs agencies of Russia and Moldova.

The dialogue at the parliamentary site was attended by Vice-speaker of the parliament, head of the commission for foreign policy and international relationship Galina Antyufeeva, head of a consultative assembly of the first Pridnestrovian deputies of the Chairman of the Supreme Council, the first president of the republic, Igor Smirnov, ex-Minister of Foreign Affairs Valeri Litskai from the Pridnestrovian side. The Russian delegation consists of Deputy Director of the Russian Foreign Ministry's CIS department Vitaly Tryapitsyn, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Russia in Moldova Farid Mukhametshin.

Vadim Krasnoselsky recalled the visit of the parliamentary delegation of Pridnestrovie in Moscow, after which the deputies of the Supreme Council prepared and sent to the lower and upper house of the Russian parliament proposals to strengthen economic and trade relations, the promotion of Pridnestrovian goods at the Russian market. These documents at the moment are analyzed by Russian specialists. Later a mechanism for interaction between the parties in the sphere of economy will be developed on this basis.
