Russian guidelines of the Pridnestrovian statehood

A scientific and practical conference "Historical self-consciousness as a factor of national unity" was held on the basis of the Institute of Public Administration, Law and Social and Humanitarian Sciences of the PSU named after T. Shevchenko. It was timed to coincide with the celebration of the Day of Russia on June 12. The scientific and research laboratory "Historical, cultural and spiritual heritage of Pridnestrovie" was the organizer of the scientific forum. Its head Natalia Gavrilyuk said that the Supreme Council is the customer of the laboratory preparation for various scientific research works.

Representatives of state authorities, national communities and public organizations, teachers and students were among the participants of the conference. The Supreme Council was represented by Mikhail Burla, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Education, Science and Culture. He conveyed the greeting of the Parliament Speaker Alexander Shcherba to the participants of the scientific-practical forum.

Mikhail Burla, a prominent economist and head of the Committee of the Supreme Council for Education, Science and Culture in his speech to the conference participants paid special attention to the economic and social aspects of Russian-Pridnestrovian cooperation.

The parliamentarian focused on common ideological, historical, cultural, linguistic, spiritual ties, as well as mentality and directions for future development. The deputies of the Supreme Council constantly raise this issue during meetings with Russian parliamentarians, as well as with representatives of the Government and the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation. For this year, 12 billion Russian rubles have been allocated from the Russian budget for grant support. The first stumbling block to receive them for our publics, even those who are citizens of the Russian Federation, is the place of residence and payment of taxes.

On the multinationality and multiculturalism and at the same time on the unity of the Pridnestrovian people, the Russian landmarks of the Pridnestrovian statehood spoke during the scientific and practical conference "Historical Self-Consciousness as a Factor of National Unity" the State Adviser to the President of the PMR, chairman of the advisory meeting of the first Pridnestrovian deputies under the Chairman of the Supreme Council, Anna Volkova.

The topic "Russian education in the multicultural environment of the university" dedicated its report to the Vice-rector of the PSU on scientific and innovative work Elena Bomeshko.

 At the end of the conference, Natalia Gavrilyuk, the head of the "Historical, cultural and spiritual heritage of Pridnestrovie", informed her participants: last year, under the auspices of the laboratory, an ethnographic dictation was organized. More than 70 Pridnestrovians dared to experience knowledge in this sphere. The youngest participant is 12, the oldest is 78.

The final point of the scientific and practical conference was the presentation of the exposition in the opened ethnographic audience.
