The Role of Youth in the Life of the State

Meeting of the Republican methodological association of the heads of city and district headquarters of the student administration was held online today. It was organized by the council of high school students of the city of Bendery. Representatives of the Ministry of Education, teachers, school activists discussed the implementation of youth policy in Pridnestrovie. Deputy Chairman of the Youth Parliament Dmitry Prokhorenko was among the speakers. As part of the online dialogue, they talked about the development of the institution of the Youth Parliament as a consultative and advisory body under the Supreme Council, about the interaction of deputies with parliamentarians and student administration bodies of cities and regions.

The current composition of the Youth Parliament continues the work begun by previous convocations on interaction with the legislative and executive branches of Government and local governments. It includes representatives of city and district councils of people's deputies, public organizations and universities. The Youth Parliament of the IV convocation began its activity in July last year. During this time, young parliamentarians participated in various conferences, actions and round tables on the topic of preserving history and developing inclusive education, meetings were also held with deputies of the State Duma of Russia.

Deputy Chairman of the Youth Parliament Dmitry Prokhorenko noted the role of the Bendery Council of High School Students, which encourages young people to participate in joint actions and events, promotes youth initiatives, talks about the activities of young parliamentarians.

As part of the online meeting, they talked about the volunteer activities of young people, holding campaigns that promote a healthy lifestyle. The topics of increasing the electoral activity of young people and the importance of showing active citizenship were raised.
