We have already reported on the visit of the delegation of the Supreme Council to Moscow and a visit to the State Duma and the Moscow City Duma. During the meeting of the presidium of the Parliament, the Speaker Alexander Korshunov and Parliamentarian Sergei Cheban informed colleagues in the deputy corps about his progress, meetings and results.
He also spoke about the meetings held at the State and Moscow City Councils, where Russian interlocutors were provided with extensive analytical material on the economic and investment potential of our republic.
According to the Parliament Speaker, during meetings with deputies of the State Duma, he could see an interest in economic cooperation with Pridnestrovie, and the supply of products of our enterprises to the Russian market. Pridnestrovian entrepreneurs will be invited to participate in the congress of entrepreneurs, which will be held in Saratov. It will become another platform for establishing business contacts between Russian and Pridnestrovian entrepreneurs, presentation of our investment legislation and investment projects, and attraction of Russian capital to the republic.
Our parliamentarians discussed issues related to the development of the republic’s economy with State Duma deputies, including those elected from Pridnestrovie. Members of the lower house of the Russian parliament are closely monitoring the events taking place both in our country and in Ukraine. In this regard, the issue of supply (transit) of natural gas after January 1, 2020 has become especially urgent.
Members of the Pridnestrovian delegation shared their impressions of the organization of the work of the Moscow City Duma - our parliamentarians attended its plenary meeting. The representative body of Moscow no longer uses paper documentation - everything, including amendments to decisions made by deputies, in electronic form. The same is the voting and order of speakers in the debate, which are displayed on the big screen in the plenary room. This experience must be used by us, our parliamentarians concluded.
