The Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic held a regular meeting today. The Speaker of the Parliament, heads of committees and commissions determined the date of the next plenary session - it is scheduled for the 1st of March. The agenda of the first spring plenary meeting included legislations prepared by the Committees for Economic Policy, Social Policy and Agro-Industrial Complex.
So, the Supreme Council will consider on the 1st of March a package of legislative initiatives that are designed to increase the effectiveness of relations in the field of bankruptcy. The authors of the legislations are, Chairman of the PMR Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov, and Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Regional Policy and Housing and Communal Services Anton Onufrienko.
Amendments and additions to the law "On fishing and conservation of aquatic biological resources of the PMR" will be considered by deputies in the second reading the 1st of March. A package of legislative initiatives implies permission to catch catfish, but according to certain rules. The catch of common catfish in Pridnestrovie has been banned for the last 15 years.
