Decisions of the Presidium of the Youth Parliament: results of the year

Meeting of the Presidium of the Youth Parliament of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic was held in the briefing hall of the Supreme Council. The young parliamentarians formed the agenda for the next plenary session. It is planned to sum up the results of work for 2022.

Reports on the work were presented by the chairmen of the committees of the Youth Parliament in the course of the meeting of the presidium. Thus, Chairman of the Youth Parliament Committee on Legislation and Protection of Youth Rights Andrei Chorba noted that a number of proposals of young parliamentarians were supported by the deputies of the Supreme Council. Law-in-draft that proposes to consolidate the system of interaction between the Ministry of Education and state administrations in the field of youth policy was adopted at the plenary meeting of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic in November in the first reading. The legislative initiative was prepared for the second reading that will regulate the procedure for granting a tax deduction for young professionals. The Head of the Committee on Education, Science and Culture Anna Blinova said that the main areas of the committee's work in 2022 will be continued in the next. The main direction is the fight against bullying in schools.

Reports on the work of the committees will be presented at the next plenary meeting so that all deputies of the Youth Parliament and those invited can familiarize themselves with them. The plans of the committees for 2023 will also be presented. Young parliamentarians noted that the priority is closer interaction with the committees and commissions of the Supreme Council on the most pressing issues of youth policy.

The Youth Parliament deputies will hold another meeting of the presidium next week. It will approve the date of the next plenary meeting and present the working plans of the committees for 2023.
