Currently, the Chairman of the legislature Alexander Korshunov and the Chairman of the Committee on Economy Oleg Vasilaty are in Moscow where they as part of the Pridnestrovian delegation participate in a number of scheduled meetings. The program of the visit includes meetings with officials in the sphere of ​​education, health care and social protection, visits to general educational and medical complexes in Moscow. The Chairman of the Supreme Council became a participant of the round table "On the socio-economic situation in Pridnestrovie: conclusions and short-term perspectives".

Today, on behalf of Alexander Korshunov, the meeting of the Presidium of the Supreme Council was held by the Vice Speaker Galina Antyufeyeva. Lawmakers discussed a number of legislations listed on the agenda of the next plenary sessions. Among them there are amendments to the law “On the right of citizens of the Pridnestrovian Republic to freedom of movement, choice of place of stay and residence within the republic”. The initiative was developed by a group of deputies. Its goal is to improve the norms of the law in terms of clarifying and supplementing the list of grounds that allow the registration authority to remove the citizen from the register at the place of stay.

The law-in-draft “On Amendments and Additions to the Criminal Code of the PMR” is also submitted for discussion by the deputies. The authors - a group of deputies - offer improvement of the norms of the Criminal Code of the PMR, providing for liability for violation of traffic rules. In particular, it is proposed to specify the concept “intoxicated person” used in Article 260 of the Criminal Code of the PMR. In addition, the legislative initiative proposes to bring drivers hiding from the scene of the accident, to criminal responsibility on a par with drunk drivers.

The list of issues on the agenda of the plenary session scheduled for April 24 includes additions and changes to the law “Special tax regime - simplified taxation system”. As explained by the Head of the Committee for Development of Entrepreneurship and Industry Viktor Guzun, the draft law proposes to provide for the reimbursement of costs for the purchase of thermal printers required for the use of online cash registers. Members of the profile committee also reviewed two government targeted programs submitted by the Government.

The program “Support and development of entrepreneurship in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic for the years 2019-2021” envisages various activities: the functioning of business school, the implementation of the project “Buy Pridnestrovian”, training in the course “Fundamentals of creating your own business” and a number of others. The total amount of funding will be about 3.6 million rubles.

The Government developed a state target program aimed at supporting and developing tourism in the republic until 2026. The total amount of financing is 17 million rubles. The program provides for the organization and conduct of the annual international tourism and investment forums, the development and publication of a tourist guide to Pridnestrovie, promotion and advertising campaign of the Pridnestrovian tourist product on the global Internet, the development and maintenance of the Internet site “Discover Pridnestrovie” and much more. The main goal of the program is to create a modern, competitive tourism industry in the republic.

In accordance with the provisions of the Regulations of the Supreme Council, the deputies are provided with a report on the results of the activities of the bodies of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic in 2018. The document was reviewed in the course of the meeting of the Committee on Legislation. The report will be submitted to the next plenary meeting of the Supreme Council.
