Repair of hospitals and clinics under the program of the Fund of Capital Investments continues

Today in the Republican Tuberculosis Hospital, which is located in Bendery, the nutrition department and laundry facilities have resumed their work. The facilities, after extensive repairs and re-equipment, were received by the chairman of the parliamentary Health Committee Sergei Cheban and deputy in the constituency No. 3 Borisovsky Oleg Petrik together with the Minister of Health Kristina Albul.

The building of the hospital is 55, the catering unit and laundry have long been in need of reconstruction. Large-scale repair work began in October 2019. It was made at the expense of the Capital Investment Fund. The hospital was designed for 200 beds, so it was necessary to increase the area and power of the catering unit.

1 million 175 thousand rubles were allocated for overhaul of the catering unit and the purchase of new equipment, 875 thousand rubles were spent on repair work in the laundry and for the purchase of a washing and drying machine.

Despite quarantine, the work on the program of the Investment Fund continues. Priority was given to healthcare facilities. This was also noted by the Chairman of the Committee on Social Policy and Health Care Sergey Cheban. Just two weeks ago, he took part in the opening after the repair of another health facility - the hospital of dermatovenereal dispensary in Tiraspol.

Sergei Cheban emphasized, that the catering and laundry facilities of the Republican Tuberculosis Hospital are now equipped with the latest sanitary standards and the latest technologies.
