The World War II battle was reconstructed on the capital's beach, on May 3. Zhanbek Eleusov, who distinguished himself during the battle for the Dnieper. On the night of September 22-23, 1943, Lieutenant Eleusov was one of the first to cross the Dnieper and took an active part in the seizure of the bridgehead on its west bank. Having secured with machine gun, repel the enemy's counterattacks, enable unit to freely force the river. Zhanbek Eleusov was awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union.

74 years ago the last shots died down. The Deputy of the Supreme Council, the Chairman of the Pridnestrovian association of veterans of the war in Afghanistan Igor Buga considers that it is very timely.
