State of emergency extended

Pridnestrovie will continue to live in a state of emergency until May 1. The special legal regime has been extended for 26 days.

The relevant changes were introduced today in Presidential Decree No. 98 of March 16, 2020. Earlier the decree on introducing a special legal regime before April 5 was signed by Vadim Krasnoselsky in connection with the announcement by WHO of the pandemic of the new coronavirus COVID-19 and in order to protect the life and health of citizens of Pridnestrovie. On March 18, the Supreme Council at the First Extraordinary Session approved the presidential decree on the introduction of a state of emergency in Pridnestrovie. Extension of the state of emergency will also be approved by deputies. The second emergency meeting of the Supreme Council will be held this week.
