Cultural heritage sites and their preservation were discussed today at the plenary session of the Supreme Council. The parliamentarians approved the report on the implementation of the "Preservation of Immovable Cultural Heritage Sites of the PMR Requiring Urgent Repair" state target program for 2021, voted for the inclusion of a number of cultural and historical heritage sites in the Unified State Register. The Head of the State Service for Culture and Historical Heritage Maria Kyrmyz noted that according to the plan, six large objects in the republic were to be renovated in 2021. 4 of them – the capital's monument to Alexander Suvorov, the Bendery fortress, the park-monument named after Dmitry Rodin in the village. Chobruchi, Slobodzeya district, the literary and memorial museum of the Hero of the Soviet Union P. Vershigora in the village of Severinovka, Kamenka district – repaired according to plans. More than two million rubles were allocated from the budget for these purposes. As for the house-museum of the Hero of the Soviet Union Ivan Soltys in the village of Kuzmin, Kamensky district, repair work should take place there this year. The famous Tower of the Winds from the village of Stroentsy, Rybnitsa region, will be restored in the next. The State Service for Culture noted that the restoration deadlines were postponed in order to prepare all the necessary documentation and not violate the integrity of the historical object, as well as due to an increase in the estimated cost of some repairs.

The deputies voted in two readings at once for the inclusion in the Unified State Register of a number of objects of cultural and historical heritage today.

Known to every inhabitant of Tiraspol the mosaic panel at the turn to the village of Novotiraspolsky is now included in the Unified State Register, for example, a mosaic on the building of the Ministry of Digital Development, two panels at once in the capital's theoretical lyceum, several objects in Bendery, Dubossary, Rybnitsa and villages of the regions of the republic.

These panels and mosaics will be under state protection after they are included in the Unified Register of Cultural Heritage Monuments. They will be subject to all legislative norms related to the study, conservation and restoration.
