Develop cooperation

The Pridnestrovian youth parliament will have special representatives in the Youth Parliament at the State Duma of the Russian Federation. The candidatures of young parliamentarians, Igor Markelov and Leonid Shaidurov, were supported today during the meeting of the youth wing of the Supreme Council. As its head Alexander Savich noted, young people have previously participated in events at the Youth Parliament’s platform at the State Duma of the Russian Federation, and have always actively represented Pridnestrovian youth.

Ekaterina Kulianitsa, Advisor to the Chairman of the Supreme Council, confirmed that the process of establishing ties with Russia among young people does not stand still. She represented Pridnestrovie at the I International Congress of Young Parliamentarians, which took place in mid-October in Moscow. As the speaker’s advisor emphasized, Pridnestrovie was officially announced on this site. The congress was attended by delegates from 32 countries of the world, the opening of the forum was held in the Russian parliament. Advice to young parliamentarians sounded from the lips of venerable politicians such as Vladimir Zhirinovsky, Leonid Slutsky, Mikhail Degtyarev, Alena Arshinova. Young parliamentarians managed to observe the work of the plenary session of the State Duma at a time when its speaker Vyacheslav Volodin spoke at the podium.

Young deputies Daria Korsakova and Alena Otsroukhova became participants in another equally important Russian-Moldavian youth forum, whose panel sessions were held in Moscow, Tula, Kursk and Orel.

Increasing the level of international cooperation and strengthening ties with young parliamentarians from other countries prompted members of the youth parliament to form their own working body in this area - the Commission on International Affairs and Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation.

At the end of the meeting, Alexander Savich aimed the young deputies at productive work, noting that the agenda for the coming months is expected to be full.

Young parliamentarians participate in the preparation of socially useful projects, the competition of which will be held in Tiraspol. Young parliamentarians are also promoting their ideas at the site of the Federal Agency of Russia "Rosmolodezh". This makes it possible to attract well-known Russian public figures to our republic to exchange experience.
