Development of the mineral resource base in Pridnestrovie

The state program for the development of the mineral resource base, the rational and integrated use of mineral resources and the protection of mineral resources in Pridnestrovie began working last year. It is designed for 5 years, until 2026.

The Supreme Council adopted the state program in July 2021. The exploration of mineral deposits and the provision of the state's needs for mineral resources is AMONG its main tasks. First of all, sand and gravel. So, 6 wells were drilled in Butuchany and 4 wells at the Zhura of Rybnitsa region last year.

Search and monitoring of the groundwater regime was carried out in the republic, as well as control over their rational use during 2022 within the framework of the state program. Much attention was paid to the protection of groundwater from pollution. Specialists examined 13 municipal solid waste facilities in the Dubossary district near Rogi, Tsybulevka, Garmatskoye, Doibany I and Doibany II, Koikovo, Dubovo, Novye Goyany, Novokomissarovka, Krasny Vinogradar, Afanasievka, Dubossary settlements.

Constant monitoring of the exogenous processes development in the territory of the republic was carried out, measures were developed and implemented to prevent landslides.

According to the report prepared by the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, a little more than 1 million rubles were allocated from the republican budget to finance the state program in 2022, the level of implementation of the state program was 91%.
