Road construction permit

Permit for the construction and repair of roads is issued by an executive body of state power or a local self-government body according to the current legislation at the moment. Along with this, state administrations already have the fullness of such powers. Local Councils of People's Deputies are primarily concerned with the consideration and approval of the local budget, relevant plans or programs. The Government has proposed a clearer distinction between the authorities in the issuance of permits for the construction and reconstruction of roads.

The Supreme Council adopted the law-in-draft in the first reading. Work on the document will continue.
