Parliamentarians in the first plenary meeting this year adopted a number of legislative initiatives of an economic nature that are designed to increase the efficiency and rationality of budget expenditures. One of them was received by the Supreme Council from the President in the regime of legislative necessity. The author proposed to supplement the law "On the Republican Budget for 2018" with two new norms.

The law-in-draft of the President was supported by the deputy corps in two readings. Another legislative initiative to amend the law "On the Republican Budget for 2018" was introduced by the head of the Committee on Economic Development Alexander Korshunov for consideration of the deputy corps. As the author explained, the amendments are designed to ensure timely fulfillment of the state's social obligations to citizens.

Parliamentarians in the process of considering the law-in-draft discussed proposed by parliamentarian Oleg Vasilaty amendment. The deputy suggested that, with the aim of supporting the housing and communal services sector, the debts of housing and utilities enterprises should be attributed to public debt.

The position of the colleague was supported by Alexander Shcherba. The speaker noted that the problems of housing and communal services have always been the subject of close attention of deputies.

Taking into account the amendments, the law-in-draft was supported by the deputy corps in two readings and sent for signature to the President.
