Expanding free business opportunities

21.11.2018

The government proposed to amend the law on the licensing of certain types of activities. As noted today, an in-depth analysis of permits in the sphere of economic activity was carried out, the degree of necessity of each document was determined. As a result, it is proposed to eliminate the need to provide licenses for several types of activities. According to the authors, services for conducting local auctions and mandatory certification do not need licensing. The original version also dealt with the exclusion from the law of activities related to the implementation of international road passenger transport.

A conceptual comment was made by the President. In its official conclusion it is noted: control in this area is necessary. The position of President was previously supported by deputies of the Committee for the Development of Business and Industry. Taking into account the important remarks, the deputy corps adopted the law-in-draft in the first reading.

The entry into force of this norm will relieve economic agents from the necessity of going through the prescribed administrative procedures. In addition, they will not bear the costs associated with obtaining a license.

Among the adopted legislations there are amendments to the law On State Duty. Issuance of permits for advertising on the vehicle will be carried out on a voluntary basis with the abolition of payment of state fees.

As the head of the relevant parliamentary committee Viktor Guzun emphasized, the deputies support the desire to simplify the conduct of business activities. The law-in-draft was adopted in the first reading.
