The concessional lending program for disabled defenders and combatants in Afghanistan has been expanded. The deputies of the Supreme Council of the PMR voted for the changes to it in the second final reading.
Another category of beneficiaries was supplemented by the state target program “Preferential lending to citizens of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, who are participants in the hostilities to protect the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and participants in the hostilities in Afghanistan from April 1978 to February 15, 1989, who became disabled of I or II groups of a general disease, labor injury, an occupational disease, a disease received during military service, by visually impaired people of group I or II for the period 2021-2026. It has been operating since last year. The executors of the program are the Pridnestrovian Savings Bank and the Ministry of Social Protection and Labor. The maximum loan amount will be calculated based on the solvency of the borrower. The bank provides 25 thousand rubles to the disabled defenders of Pridnestrovie, if at the time of the end of the loan agreement their age does not exceed 70 years. Those who are 70-75 years old will be able to get a loan of 15 thousand rubles. The interest rate is 17% per annum. The borrower pays only 4%, and the remaining 13% is taken over by the state.
Parliamentarians as part of today's changes proposed to give the right of choice to beneficiaries. Previously, for consultation and preparation of all necessary documents for obtaining a soft loan, they turned to public organizations, to which they are assigned. Those in turn sent a package of documents to the Unified State Social Insurance Fund. Now the beneficiary will be able to choose where it is more convenient for him to apply.
