Members of “The Obnovlenie” faction gathered on the eve of weekly plenary meeting. THE topic of pensions was one of the most important issues on the agenda. We are talking about those times when some careless or dishonest managers of enterprises, organizations and institutions, including liquidated kolkhoz (sovkhoz), admitted accounting violations. What was the essence of the employers' violations? It is simple - the income tax, as well as fees to the pension fund with employees were levied, but not sent for the purpose. When a person comes to the "time to the golden autumn" and began to issue a deserved retirement, it became clear that there is no payment from his work to the United State Social Insurance Fund. If it happens for a few days, or in some cases – months, but we are talking about years. This situation accordingly reduces the seniority of employees, and therefore the amount of pension.

The Supreme Council deputies receive complaints from voters at every reception of citizens on personal questions. The problem is topical and relevant. Deputy of the Supreme Council, a member of “The Obnovlenie” faction Oleg Vasilaty prepared a legislative initiative for solving it. He supposes that it is necessary to legislatively establish that seniority should be considered on the basis of accrued and withheld from the amounts of workers.

However, participants of the discussion on this law-in-draft agreed that the preparation document for the second reading is necessary to provide mechanisms for the implementation of its provisions.
