The Work was launched

The Prime Minister told about the need for a thoughtful and measured approach to the preparation of the concept of budget and tax policy for the current year and the medium term on January 11 at the enlarged meeting of the Government with the participation of the head of state. A special working group, which in addition to ministers, heads of agencies included representatives of the Supreme Council - the chairman of the Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance Alexander Korshunov, as well as the head of the department Mikhail Polishchuk was formed for this purpose. Today the first meeting was held.

The challenges, facing by members of the Working Group were identified by Acting First Deputy Chairman of the Government of Alevtina Slinchenko. Among them - there was analysis of the situation in the budget and tax area, the level of tax burden in sectors of the economy, the budget deficit, the tax structure.

The working group activity will continue for the next meeting. Proposals on the content of the budget and tax policy concept are expected from the heads of ministries and agencies.
