The work must be systematic

Last year was announced by the President Vadim Krasnoselsky the Year of Equal Opportunities. All authorities together with public organizations joined forces to change for the better the lives of people with disabilities and an unlimited desire to live. Legislative innovations were developed and adopted, additional benefits were established, measures were taken to create comfortable living conditions for citizens.

The work on creating the world of equal opportunities will not be limited to one year. It will continue. The Supreme Council today reviewed the state program "Equal Opportunities", designed for 4 years.

It is planned to create conditions for the free movement of persons with disabilities, as well as their employment. The work will continue on creating a barrier-free environment in vocational education organizations. Cultural and leisure activities are planned for people of various age groups with disabilities. The textbook will be printed in Braille and a specialized printer will be purchased. A bus for people with limited mobility will appear in Grigoriopol.

In general, the amount of funding for the Program for 2019-2022 is 4 million 987 thousand rubles. Almost 2 and a half million will be allocated from the republican budget, the same from the local budget.

The state program "Equal Opportunities" was adopted by the Supreme Council in the first reading.
