Respect for nature

Dear employees of state environmental authorities!

On behalf of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic I congratulate you on your professional holiday and on World Environment Day!

2019, declared the Year of Ecology and Improvement, should draw public attention to the problematic issues existing in the environmental sphere, improve the state of the country's environmental safety and preserve the unique nature of the Republic.

Today, our state effectively operates environmental protection services that monitor the state of water and forest objects, develop a system of specially protected and protected areas, look for ways to dispose of household and industrial waste, monitor the state of atmospheric air.

Thanks to the daily work of environmental services, we are able to maintain and progressively improve the state of the environment every year. At the same time, the activities of the state environmental structures should be complemented by effective deeds on the part of public organizations and the conscientiousness of each resident.

I am convinced that only by joint efforts, with respect for nature, we will be able not only to preserve clean air, the fertility of lands, the richness of forests, and the diversity of the animal and plant world that adorn our republic, but also to increase.
