To clarify the Situation

Members of the presidium of the parliament decided on the agenda of the forthcoming plenary sessions. It is planned that the subject of the discussion by deputies will be amendments to the Electoral Code, adopted earlier in the first reading. We are talking about placing the pictures to ballot of candidates, in case of coincidence of their names, for recognition candidates to governance. As noted by members of the Presidium, the initiative has both positive and negative aspects associated with particular inequality candidates for deputy mandates. According to the CEC, the adoption of legislative initiative may entail additional costs for printing of ballots and the organization elections in general. The decision on this matter is up to deputies.

Supreme Council prepared a draft resolution on amnesty in connection with the 70th anniversary of the Victory in Great Patriotic War and the 25th anniversary of PMR. According to the head of parliamentary committee Galina Antyufeeva, negative opinions on them currently have not been received.

The agenda of tomorrow's plenary session included more than twenty questions. Among them there is the "Executive Power Information Hour" in which the current socio-economic situation in the republic, the reasons for the payment of wages to public sector workers and pensions amounting to 70%, measures to stabilize the economic situation should be discussed. Prime Minister Tatiana Turanskaya, as well as leaders of social and economic units of the Cabinet were invited.

In accordance with the Rules of the Supreme Council the Deputy Anatoly Dirun participated in the Presidium. A draft resolution of the legislature to apply to the Constitutional Court about not signing by the President of adopted by the Supreme Council amendments to the law "On Customs Tariff" was presented for discussion of the colleagues. The parliamentarian Dirun was its author. It is about an extension of time of entry of automobiles older than 10 years into the territory of the Republic. Earlier, the president vetoed the adopted law by people's deputies, then deputies overcame it. Moreover, in the course of the recent plenary sessions, they once again asked him to sign the document, affecting the interests of a large number of citizens. However, nothing transpired of the decision of the President on the day of the presidium meeting.

The voices of members of the Presidium were divided approximately equally after discussions, but the majority voted for the transfer of this discussion after one plenary session.
