To check the fighting ability of the army

Command-staff exercises were held in Tiraspol. The Supreme Commander-in-Chief Vadim Krasnoselsky, Speaker of the Parliament Alexander Shcherba, Chairman of the Government Alexander Martynov, and heads of executive authorities took part in it.

According to the press service of the head of state the command-staff training with the leadership was held in two stages. The aim of the theoretical part is to consider and agree on the interaction of the power structures in organizing the covering of the state border and defense. Another task is to work out the issue of creating a state reserve of material and technical means to provide the Armed Forces and the civilian population in the event of a transition from a peaceful to a military situation. In addition, the training participants got acquainted with the order of organization of interaction between the Armed Forces and local self-government agencies.

Military shooting took place during the practical part. In addition, a field hospital was deployed for training purposes.
