The procedure for issuing address and reference information has been changed

Owners of residential premises will be able to receive a certificate of citizens registered in their apartment or house in a simplified manner. The consent of all residents and registered in this room was required previously in order to obtain an address certificate. The norm is regulated by the Law "On Personal Data", according to which address and reference information cannot be disclosed to third parties without the consent of the owner of personal data, even if the third party is a close relative of the owner of the data. There is a situation when it is impossible to obtain consent to such data processing if, for example, the person registered is outside the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.

The Government of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic has developed a legislative initiative to eliminate such conflicts. The Parliamentary Legislation Committee supported the legislative initiative.

The adopted changes provide owners of residential premises with the opportunity to obtain a certificate of registration of citizens at the place of residence in a simplified manner. The legislative initiative received the unanimous support of the deputies. The amendments to the law will come into force 1 month after the official publication.
