The initiative of the Prosecutor of the was considered at the plenary session held on February 22. The law-in-draft amends the law of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic "On the right of citizens of the PMR to freedom of movement, choice of place of stay and residence within the PMR". It is designed to regulate the procedure for registering minors in case of failure to fulfill the corresponding obligation by their legal representatives. The law-in-draft was supported by parliamentarians unanimously, adopted in the second reading.

Parents, guardians and adoptive parents, after receiving a birth certificate or other documents confirming guardianship, adoption, are required to submit an application and register a minor child at the place of stay or residence within 60 days now. The registration authorities have the right to register the child at the place of residence of legal representative if the parents or adoptive parents do not do this. The notification nature of registration remains for children under guardianship at the suggestion of the Committee on Legislation.
