There was held the PMR Supreme Council Presidium meeting

Meeting of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic took place. Parliamentarians decided online on the date of the next plenary meeting and the issues that are planned to be included on the agenda.

At the suggestion of the Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Alexander Korshunov, the plenary meeting scheduled for this week, March 6, taking into account all the bills received by the parliamentary committees, was decided to be postponed to next week. It will take place on the 13th of March. The heads of the Committees together with the speaker decided to include in the agenda of the next plenary meetings amendments and additions to the law “On state support for young families for the purchase of housing” in the first reading today, as well as amendments to the Housing Code of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.

Chairman of the Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance Victor Guzun proposed to submit for consideration to the plenary meeting a draft Resolution of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic on amending the Resolution of the Supreme Council from last year “On the conduct of control activities by the Accounts Chamber of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic”. The Resolution proposes changing the date by which the Accounts Chamber must carry out the control measures assigned to it from March 1 to November 1 of the current year.

Parliamentarians will consider a package of social legislations in the course of the next plenary meeting, which will be held on the 13th of March as well as changes to the law “On personal income tax” in the first reading and amendments to the law “On the republican budget for 2024” and the draft Resolution “On approval of the State program for the execution of voters’ orders for 2024”.
