Farewell, school!

24.05.2025

Ceremonial assemblies marking the end of the 2024-2025 academic year are taking place in the schools of Pridnestrovie today.

Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Alexander Korshunov addressed schoolchildren, graduates, teachers and parents with words of parting words and gratitude:

Dear teachers, dear graduates, schoolchildren and their parents!

The last bell at your favorite school is a holiday that is both sad and joyful. Each student, having gone through 9 months of hard work and study, has absorbed new knowledge about the history and geography of our region and the world, mathematics and their native language. New successes and achievements lie ahead for the graduates. Young people, the whole world is at your feet now – it is important to choose the right path and follow it the way your favorite teachers taught you within the walls of your native school. The care and support of parents is forever. True friends, whom the school gave you, will be by your side on your life's path. The ability to overcome difficulties will help when learning the business that each of you chooses to your liking. Therefore, dare! Forward to new heights!

I want to wish the boys and the girls who are moving to a new stage of education at school perseverance and a creative approach to the process of learning different sciences. Patience to the parents. Let the success of your children be your reward for love and care.

I express special words of gratitude and respect to all the teachers of the Pridnestrovian schools. The last bell is also your holiday. Dear teachers, your work is invaluable, because it is the teacher who helps schoolchildren to learn about the world, learn to love their country – our Pridnestrovie, contributes to the formation of the civic position of the younger generation and the intellectual wealth of our republic. I wish schoolchildren and graduates great achievements and joy, teachers – good health and well-being, parents – optimism and faith in their children, and to all of us – peaceful skies and a warm summer!
