Paying last tribute to the deputy of the first convocation Pyotr Zalozhkov

Paying last tribute to the deputy of the Provisional Supreme Council of the PMR, deputy of the first convocation of the PMR Supreme Council, member of the Consultative Assembly of the first Pridnestrovian deputies under the Chairman of the PMR Supreme Council Pyotr Aleksandrovich Zalozhkov will take place on November 29.

Memorial service will be held, and at 10.00 a civil memorial service will begin at 9.20 in the Cathedral of the Nativity of Christ (81, K. Marx St., Tiraspol).

Pyotr Zalozhkov took an active part in the strike movement against the nationalist policy of the leadership of Moldova towards the people of Pridnestrovie, headed the strike committee of Tiraspol, and was co-chairman of the United Council of Labor Collectives in the late 80s of the twentieth century. Participant of the I and II congresses of deputies of all levels of Pridnestrovie. Pyotr Zalozhkov was one of the founders of Pridnestrovie, deputy of the Provisional Supreme Council of the PMSSR and a deputy of the first convocation of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.

Pyotr Zalozhkov passed away on the 27th of November, 2023. The Supreme Council expresses deep condolences to family and friends in connection with the passing of a prominent public and political figure.
