The Prosecutors and inspections

Deputies of the Supreme Council supported amendments to the law "On the procedure for conducting inspections under state control (supervision)" initiated by the Prosecutor of PMR". They are about clarifying the powers of prosecutors during the inspections.

Introducing the law-in-draft, Anatoly Guretsky assured the people's deputies that the amendments proposed by him were in no way aimed at increasing pressure on entrepreneurs and obtaining some "mega authorities". Deputies were also interested in the circle of prosecutors who would have the right to initiate unscheduled inspections. According to the prosecutor of the republic, these persons include city prosecutors, as well as persons acting in their absence and personally himself. This is explained by the large number of control measures carried out by the body overseeing the observance of the rule of law.
