Programming and transparency of spending

The state administration of the capital initiated a public hearing on the draft budget of Tiraspol for 2020. Among those invited were deputies of the local Council, representatives of the public, and residents of the city.

This year, the budget of Tiraspol is non-subsidized and socially oriented. Revenues in 2020 should amount to over 329 million rubles, the same amount of expenses. Over 252 million rubles will be directed to socially protected articles. Approximately 40 million rubles were allocated from the republican budget to finance activities under the “Capital” program, the fund for the development and promotion of territories. The lion's share of the allocated funds is subsidies for the development of the road industry. This is the repair of roads, sidewalks, stormwater networks and street lighting.

The development of the city has planned amounts of 80 million rubles. The plans to pay attention to the sports camp "Spartak". Last year, funds were allocated to equip the boiler house, this year resources are needed to launch it. In addition, plans to begin the construction of modern houses in the camp. The current ones are in disrepair.

This year the affordable housing program will continue. The city authorities intend to complete the construction of the remaining "unfinished" in the capital.

Funding has been pledged to prepare and conduct events in the city dedicated to the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory and the 30th anniversary of the republic.

Consideration of the draft local budget is scheduled for February 6. By this time, estimates of planned activities will be reviewed and agreed within the framework of meetings of relevant commissions. Together with the budget, deputies intend to adopt a program of mandates for voters. Now work is underway on its formation.
