The Affordable Housing in Action

31.03.2021

The new address appeared in Kishinevskaya Street in Bendery - house number 117. 60 state employees - militia officers, teachers and doctors received the keys to their own apartments in the new five-story building on the eve. The solemn ceremony was attended by the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky, the leadership of the city of Bendery, Deputy of the Supreme Council for the district No. 2 Yuri Kucherenko.

An abandoned unfinished construction in Kishinevskaya Street in Bendery began to be restored in February last year under the presidential program "Affordable Housing". Handing over the keys to the new settlers, Vadim Krasnoselsky expressed gratitude to them for believing in the success of this project and congratulated them on important event - the purchase of their own housing. Vadim Krasnoselsky recalled that this is the tenth residential building that replaced the long-term construction, and emphasized that the successful socially significant program will continue to operate, the press service of the head of state writes.

The Affordable Housing project has been implemented for the fourth year. The cost per square meter in such houses is much less than in the real estate market. The state assumed the costs of the facility and the supply of engineering communications. The owners will do the repairs to their liking and at their own expense.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs took an active part in the construction of the house in Kishinevskaya Street in Bendery, whose employees received part of the apartments here. The President Vadim Krasnoselsky noted the infrastructure improvement that has become a distinctive feature of the houses, in the construction of which the Ministry of Internal Affairs helps. The entrances are tiled and illuminated, intercoms are installed. The adjacent territory is well-groomed and landscaped, there is a playground and a parking lot. The installation of video surveillance cameras in the yard is planned for the near future.

The Supreme Council Deputy Yuri Kucherenko for constituency No.2 was in touch with the residents of neighboring houses from the very beginning of construction work so that the construction process would not infringe on anyone's interests. For example, asphalt began to collapse on the territory of the local area due to the movement of trucks last year. The issue was resolved with the Bendery state administration - heavy trucks began to drive up to the new building along the bypass road.
