Professional holiday of cultural workers

Cultural workers of the republic will celebrate their professional holiday on the 26th of May. The best of the best were honored and awarded in the small hall of the Palace of the Republic today. Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Galina Antyufeyeva took part in the award ceremony. She called the golden fund of Pridnestrovie those who teach to see and create beauty, create and give joy to the residents of the republic with their creativity.

The vice-speaker, speaking to teachers of art schools, heads of cultural centers and creative groups of the country, noted that over the past few years, special attention has been paid to cultural institutions throughout Pridnestrovie. Many buildings were updated, major repairs were carried out, roofs were replaced, stages and auditoriums were repaired in general, heating and water supply systems were changed so that those who, with their work, create a holiday and good mood for the residents of the republic could work in good conditions.

Chairman of the Supreme Council of the PMR Alexander Korshunov addressed his congratulations to cultural workers on the eve of their professional holiday.

The head of the State Service for Culture and Historical Heritage of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Maria Kyrmyz spoke about the importance of the work of cultural workers in the modern world. She noted that it is culture that shapes the existence of every person and makes every nation unique. Culture takes upon itself the task of preserving the spiritual and moral traditions of the people, acting as a qualitative indicator of the standard of living of society. The best of the best were awarded state awards on the occasion of the professional holiday. The first in a series of awards was the chief director of the Pridnestrovian State Drama and Comedy Theater named after Aronetskaya Dmitry Akhmadiev. He was awarded Today the title of People's Artist of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.
