Professional holiday of Pridnestrovian metallurgists

Workers in the metallurgical industry celebrate their professional holiday on the third Sunday of July every year. A solemn meeting was held in Rybnitsa in the assembly hall of the Moldavian Metallurgical Plant on the eve of Metallurgist Day. The best representatives of the profession were awarded state awards and certificates. The Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Galina Antyufeyeva congratulated Pridnestrovian metallurgists on behalf of the Chairman of the Supreme Council and on behalf of the entire deputy corps.

Galina Antyufeyeva conveyed the welcoming address of the Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Alexander Korshunov to the General Director of the Moldavian Metallurgical Plant Sergei Kornev.

Deputies of the Supreme Council, representing in parliament the interests of residents of the city of Rybnitsa and Rybnitsa district Andrey Safonov, Vadim Kravchuk, Valentin Matveychuk and Vasily Kunitsky, came to congratulate the metallurgists on their professional holiday.

A big sports festival dedicated to Metallurgist Day will be organized in Rybnitsa tomorrow, July 20. The program includes competitions in football, volleyball and basketball, arm wrestling, tug of war and barbell press, chess, billiards and darts, relay races for adults and children. The tournaments will be held at the stadium, indoor stage and in the gym of school No. 10. Everything will start at 8:30. Master classes and competitions for children will be held at the site at the main entrance to the school. At exactly noon, a dragon class rowing regatta will take place on the Dniester embankment. The celebration will last until the evening and end with a concert.
