The presentation of the album with reproductions of paintings by the artist Dmitry Gubarev (1949 - 1988) took place in the Pridnestrovian State Art Museum. The publication was published in the framework of the project of the Union of Pridnestrovian Artists "The Return" and with the support of "The Obnovlenie" (Renewal). A lot of work on creating the album was done, in particular, by the chairman of this creative union Sergey Panov.
The album included about 40 works by Gubarev, a graphic. Dmitry Gubarev was born in Moldavia, in the village of Kitskany. Graduated from Odessa State Art College named after M.B. Grekov, from 1981 to 1988 he worked in the workshops of the Art Fund of Tiraspol. He has many graphic works, in addition, the master was engaged in the design of interiors. He created an art project of the exposition of the memorial house museum of Academician Zelinsky, whose family was friends. The artist restored the exhibits, recreated the interior in the museum, characteristic for the end of the XIX century. There is also a large canvas of Gubarev with a panorama of Tiraspol. Gubarev was actively engaged in social activities, was a member of the youth association of the Union of Artists of the USSR.
The museum visitors could see the exhibition of the artist's works. The exposition, in which drawings and etchings are collected, is housed in two halls. The event was attended by several dozen people - members of the republic's creative unions, teachers, students who study art. Those who gathered welcomed the deputy of the Supreme Council, a member of "The Obnovlenie" (Renewal) Anton Onufrienko. He noted that the party intends to continue to help serious creative projects, and "The Return" is one of them.
A daughter of Dmitry Gubarev from the city of Sevastopol came to the exhibition. Remembering her father, she said that he seemed to be in a hurry to live - he managed a lot. According to the artist's daughter, only a small part of his work is exhibited in the museum - many pictures are kept by her. Olga would like to organize their exhibition in Russia.
"The Return" project started on the initiative of the Union of Artists in 2011. The aim of the project is to popularize the creativity of contemporary Pridnestrovian artists unfamiliar to a wide range of art lovers.
