Privatization of commercial housing

The Committee on the Agro-Industrial Complex last week came up with an initiative to give the participants in the military operations to protect the PMR, who work in state organizations, the opportunity to privatize housing occupied under a commercial lease agreement for free. The Supreme Council supported the initiative. A number of amendments were received from the deputies during the work on the law-in-draft in the second reading. Deputy Chairman of the Committee on State Regional Policy Anton Onufrienko proposed to expand this norm.

The new norm of the law will be valid provided that a person has worked in state or municipal authorities for at least 10 years and if the period of residence in rented commercial housing is at least 10 years. The Supreme Council adopted the law-in-draft in the final reading.
