Reclamation contributes to the improvement of the environment, the normalization of water, heat and air regimes, helps to make more efficient use of land, which is of great importance for agriculture. Melioration and agricultural water supply is a firm support in ensuring the food security of the republic.

Today melioration is one of the priority directions of the agrarian sector. Taking into account that the further development of agriculture primarily depends on the condition of the meliorative complex, it is necessary to continue the policy of increasing the efficiency of the use of reclamation systems and the available irrigated areas.

 I am sure that the workers of the melioration industry will continue to make a significant contribution to the sustainable development of the country's agriculture and improve the quality of life of the population.
