Priority tasks for the autumn-winter session

Today the first meeting of the Presidium of the Supreme Council took place in the autumn session. The Speaker of the Parliament Alexander Korshunov outlined the priority directions of the work of the supreme legislature in the near future.

The state budget due to quarantine measures does not receive part of the financial resources, in addition, additional costs have appeared on measures to combat the spread of infection, as well as on payments of compensation to those who were forced to suspend their activities during the state of emergency and quarantine, as well as a number of other expenses.

According to Alexander Korshunov, one of the important areas of funding that should be included in the budget for next year is the purchase of housing for orphans.

It was decided to hold the first plenary meeting of this session on the 16th of September. It will consider reports on the implementation in 2019 of the state target program "Strategy the development of PSU for the period 2019-2023" and implementation in 2019 of the program "Preservation of immovable objects of the PMR cultural heritage requiring urgent repair", as well as a number of other documents.
